How these figures are calculated
  • Year 1 production = power × zone yield × exposure factor; it then declines by the set percentage each year.
  • Storage increases self-consumption with diminishing returns relative to installed capacity, capped at 92%.
  • Savings follow energy price inflation; the grid feed-in tariff is indexed at half that rate.
  • The tax deduction is spread over ten equal annual instalments and assumes full tax capacity.
  • IRR and NPV are calculated on the nominal cash flows over the full 25-year horizon.
  • Italian electricity grid emission factor: 0.28 kg CO₂ per kWh.
